9/27/2023 0 Comments Kodi movies background![]() Please see the second video for a better explanation of what I mean So you get a flicker each time the animation starts. This nearly works but the problem is that because it's a hidden animation (I think), the texture shows up for the microsecond that Container.OnPrevious is visible, before then going back to 0 and fading in slowly. Using Container.OnPrevious for the visibility condition and making it a Hidden animation. Adding a Hidden animation to try and force the fade value back to 0 when the texture is hidden (when the 380ms window after a click left ends) This is the texture and animation I have: When Container.OnPrevious is triggered, a Control (5001) becomes visible for 380ms, which is the length of the animation transition. My current animation works, but only the first time you press left (for Container.OnPrevious to trigger), after that the overlay seems to fully visible from the start, without fading. (The white would be a fanart, I've just made it white and the overlaying texture black so it's clearer to see the animation). In the video below, you can see what I'm trying to achieve, as the white square moves to the right (when Container.OnPrevious is triggered), I want a texture to fade in over the top of it to emulate it being dimmed. Hi I'm struggling with what should hopefully be a fairly simple animation, but it's for a custom view so I can't use focus/unfocus. The expected behaviour is that the images in the HOME window don't update or refresh when the background video ends or when the Containers are refreshing/updating. But obviously this option is not functional, since when selecting another tvShow, the image doesn’t change, it is static.ĭoes anyone know what happens? Please can you help me? In this case, when the video ends, the image is maintained and not “refreshed”. The only way I have found that this doesn’t happen is to manually enter the image path, for example: the same thing always happens, when the trailer ends and the Containers are updated, the images disappear for a while and then reappear. I have tried to assign the value to the of these images in different ways, via variable, via $INFO, via window property setted from the skin, via window property setted from a python script. When the trailer ends, the widgets are updated (I know this is normal Kodi behaviour), the problem is that all the images (fanart, clearlogo, Studio logo) that are in the HOME window are “refreshed” too (except the TvShow posters of the widgets). In the background the trailer of the focused TvShow is played. In the HOME window in the lower part I have some widgets that filter the TvShows by categories, and in the upper part (like Netflix style), I have the TvShow logo (clearlogo), plot, Studio logo, etc. I am modifying the skin estuary (Kodi v18.5), adapting it to my needs. I have detected an issue that is driving me a little crazy.
